Campus Hall is home to Wagner College's Music Department. The Music Department sponsors numerous concerts and other public events each year. The department’s facilities include a multi-use Performance Center, a Music Lab and a Music Resource Room, both equipped with computers and electronic keyboards, and numerous practice rooms.
Join us for Dr. Roger Wesby’s final concert as a conductor of Wagner College Choirs. The Chamber Singers and Stretto vocal ensemble will offer a special concert in celebration of their work this year. The program will be richly varied and also rich in Beatles tunes and Americana. The program includes works by renaissance master Palestrina, settings of the Song of Solomon by Healey Willan, Edward Bairstow and Carson Cooman, the exquisite Trois chansons of Debussy, evocative nocturnes by Samuel Barber and Eriks Esenvalds, and an imaginative and entertaining experiment in sound by Jake Runstadt. Beatles offerings will include Come together, Yesterday, Eleanor Rigby, Michelle, and She said she said. The bluegrass-tinged Americana will include Down in the River to Pray, Come, Holy Spirit, Come and Unclouded Day. The concert will conclude with a gospel song and a spiritual.
The Modern Languages department invites you to the honor society induction ceremonies for the Spanish and French Honor Societies as well as to participate in the thesis defense presentations for graduating senior language majors.

Wagner College Treble Concert Choir and Hildegard Ensemble with Kelly Birgfeld and Roger Wesby, conductors
Treble Concert Choir performance will include a diverse repertoire of madrigals, gospel music and a pop song by AVICII and will feature Eric Whitacre’s “Five Hebrew Love Songs” for violin, piano and choir.
The Hildegard Ensemble’s offerings will include works by Fauré, bluegrass style folk hymns, and songs by Duke Ellington and Ella Fitzgerald. The campus community is cordially invited to what promises to an inspirational concert.
Vocal Jazz Set

Stretto Vocal Ensemble, joined by a fine quartet and guest soloists performs an evening of jazz, fusion, standards, R & B, bluegrass and popular songs by the Beatles and Joni Mitchell. Selections by Thelonius Monk, Wayne Shorter, Duke Ellington, George Gershwin, James Taylor and Mali Music will be performed.
Accountant Linda Tilzer of Trudy C. Durant and Associates, LLC will be on campus to discuss accounting and taxation topics relevant to those working in the entertainment industry.
