In the midst of a historic transformation focused on educational offerings and a premier student experience, Wagner College has again been ranked highly by Princeton Review.
Wagner is among Princeton Review’s “Best 392 Colleges” — out of about 5,600 in the United States — in August’s latest edition. Wagner was also listed among the journal’s “Best Northeast” institutions. The college was also included in the inaugural Time Magazine “Best Colleges 2026-2027” listing this fall. The list called out the top 500 of more than 2,700 public and private four-year schools.
“Wagner College has embraced, indeed led, the forward-looking change that is necessary for student success,” said President Jeffrey Doggett. “We are always grateful when the world recognizes that commitment and our momentum.”
Princeton Review also named Wagner one of the nation’s 50 “Colleges That Create Futures,” a list of schools that “empower students to discover practical applications for their talents and interests through experiences that complement their classes and coursework.”
The college’s theatre program was named No. 2 in the United States, and was among the country’s top 25 “Most Politically Moderate Students.”
“Our faculty and students are embodying the ideals of higher education by remaining committed to discourse, not discord, in a rapidly changing world,” Doggett said. “We are proud to be a campus where everyone is not merely welcomed but supported.”
