Jerry Herman and Harvey Fierstein’s musical, based on the hit French play and movie, follows the story of Georges and Alban, beloved partners who manage and star at their Saint-Tropez cabaret backed by their famous Les Cagelles. Disguises run amok in this hilarious and sentimental musical that reveals the true meaning of family. With show-stopping anthems like “The Best of Times” and “I Am What I Am,” La Cage Aux Folles won multiple Tonys. Directed and choreographed by WCT’s Rusty Curcio (Iolanthe, Cats), assisted by Patrick Ryan Heffernan ’11, with musical direction by David Sisco.
