ON THE TOWN
New York! New York! A helluva town. The Bronx is up and the Battery’s down. During World War II, three sailors have 24 hours’ leave to explore New York City. Friendship, perseverance, and pure adrenaline help them make the most of their time. With thrilling music by Leonard Bernstein, and playful lyrics and book by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, the show’s celebrated score includes such standards as “Come Up to My Place,” “I Can Cook, Too,” “Some Other Time” and “New York, New York.” Directed by Theresa McCarthy, choreographed by Carissa Bellando.
