THEATRE ALUMNI

BECKY GRACE KALMAN

Class of 2014

Since graduation Becky has had the opportunity to perform at regional theaters all over the country such as The Allenberry Playhouse, The Jackson Hole Playhouse, The Ogunquit Playhouse and The John W. Engeman Theater. She also had the pleasure of working with Jeffry Denman in a one-night benefit concert of Peter Pan for The Transport Group, a non-profit Off-Broadway theater company. She is currently in rehearsals for Shrek (Ugly Duckling/Blind Mouse) and Newsies (swing) at Tuacahn in Ivins, UT. The shows run in rep through the end of October along with Mamma Mia, which begins rehearsals later this summer. If you're in the Southern Utah area come check her out!

I love the family that is Wagner College Theater. The professors not only push and challenge their students but are also supportive every step of the way, setting an example for the students to be supportive of one another as well. This makes all the difference in a business that is inherently cut throat and competitive. I’m still friends with many of my college buddies and whenever I run into a fellow Waggie at an audition it feels good to know I’ve got people rooting me on.
