JONATHAN GALVEZ

Class of 2006

JONATHAN G GALVEZ is a playwright from the NY/NJ area. His works have been featured in the New York International Fringe Festival (Thirty Minutes or Less, The Girl with Her Hands in the Sand, The Call of the Siren, A Life TBD) and at the Manhattan Repertory Theatre (Crossing Lights, The Last Rites of Kyle Wardach). He was the winner of the 10th Annual NJ Playwrights Contest with this work The Alice of Ward 13, where it was produced at William Paterson University. His short plays have been seen in the National Red-Eye Festival, Sundog Theatre’s Scenes from the Staten Island Ferry, and The Player’s Theatre’s Shortened Attention Span Festival. He received his BA in Theatre Education from Wagner College and MFA in Playwriting from Hollins University.
