Biography: Rusty has worked for Wagner College since 1997 and is currently the Head of Dance. Rusty is a trained dancer, director/choreographer and movement specialist working for the past 30 years in the NYC area. He has performed internationally throughout Japan, Europe and North America and is a Certified Movement Analyst and Registered Somatic Movement Therapist/Educator. He has also worked as Artistic Director for Bergen Festival Theatre Company, Bergen County, NJ and Lycian Center, Sugar Loaf, NY as well as Dance Director and Company Manager for Surflight Theatre, Beach Haven NJ.
Performance highlights: Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo, Surflight Theatre, Mac-Haydn Theatre, Peridance Dance Ensemble, Acanthus Ballet Company
Courses Taught: Ballet, Musical Theatre Dance, Movement for the Performer, Dance Appreciation, Dance Criticism, Dance History, Choreography and Experiential Anatomy/Kinesiology.
