wendy.cavett@wagner.edu B.F.A. Carnegie MellonWendy Bobbitt Cavett is thrilled to join the Wagner Faculty fresh from Broadway, where she music directed and conducted Mamma Mia! for over 9 years. Other Broadway and NY credits include The Scarlet Pimpernel, A Year with Frog and Toad, The Most Happy Fella, and A Tale of Two Cities. National and international credits include: The Who's Tommy, Mamma Mia! Buenos Aires, and Mamma Mia! Las Vegas.
Regional productions, many of which are premieres, include: The 12 (Denver Center for the Performing Arts); Johnny Baseball (A.R.T. and Williamstown Festival), The Hidden Sky (Prince Music Theatre); A Year with Frog and Toad (Minneapolis’ CTC); Just So (North Shore Music Theatre), Almost September (St. Louis Rep) plus productions at Papermill Playhouse and Goodspeed Opera. She is currently developing a modern fairy tale musical, Bloom, and collaborating with Sheri Sanders on her new website "Rock the Performance".
Wendy received her BFA from Carnegie Mellon University, where, upon graduating, she returned as a full-time vocal coach.
Wendy will join Michele Pawk and Lauri Young in teaching Acting V and Music Theatre Performance 2.
