Advanced Placement

The PA Program does not grant incoming students advanced placement. Due to the sequential construction of the PA curriculum, and its emphasis on progressive ‘depth and breadth’, PA students are required to attend all courses and clinical rotations in the didactic, clinical, and advanced clinical phases of the program. While the program requires prerequisite courses (such as anatomy & physiology) prior to enrollment, those prerequisites do not substitute for more advanced courses offered within the curriculum of the PA Program.
