Students will matriculate at Wagner College in a program of study leading to a baccalaureate degree in science (B.S.) and includes course work required to satisfy all entrance requirements of NYCC.  That program (sequence suggested) includes the following:

  • Anticipated plan of study by semester
  • Requirements for NYCC admission
  • Student letter of intent to attend NYCC

Students must complete the course of study at Wagner College with a cumulative Grade Point Average of at least 3.0 and earn a minimum of “C” (2.00) in all specified courses.

Students entering with a 3.0-3.499 cumulative GPA from Wagner College will be automatically awarded a NYCC merit scholarship valued at $1,500.00.  Students entering with a 3.5 or higher cumulative GPA from Wagner College will be automatically awarded a NYCC merit scholarship valued at $2,500.00.  These scholarships are non-renewable and dispersed equally between the first and second NYCC trimesters only.

Within the first two years at Wagner College, students will submit their intent to NYCC Admissions.  The Letter of Intent must be signed by the student’s advisor, signaling realistic and accurate desired NYCC entrance date.

Students may apply for admission to NYCC one year in advance of their desired entrance date and complete all NYCC application requirements.

NYCC shall accept students who have fulfilled the requirements set forth herein, and all generally applicable NYCC admission requirements, for the entrance date of their choice.

NOTE:  Students who do not maintain a cumulate GPA of at least 3.0 from Wagner College, but complete the program with a GPA of 2.75 or better, will receive appropriate special consideration for admission to NYCC, acknowledging the completion of the Articulation sequence at Wagner College.
