Expanding Your Horizons

Wagner College offers short study-aboard programs for faculty, staff and students of all disciplines. These programs aim to enrich everyone’s Wagner experience. The Expanding Your Horizons (EYH) program incorporates a trip abroad with a semester-long course upon returning. Each course provides opportunities for experiential learning within the curriculum. Full immersion in a new culture proves unforgettably enriching for many who otherwise would not be able to study abroad.

In the spring of 2019,  Dr. Sarah Scott (Art Historian) and Dr. Felicia Ruff (Theatre Historian) took students to Crete and the Peloponnese.

Expanding Your Horizons: Devised Theatre in Amsterdam and Paris
For many years, Prof. David McDonald has taken students to cities like Amsterdam and Paris to study with international theatre artist Carlos Garcia Estevez. This 2-week intensive workshop focuses on movement and devised theatre.

The course is both mentally and physically demanding but the rewards are invaluable, as students learn new levels of physical and creative engagement.

Application Forms and more information about the EHY programs can be found here. Please feel free to contact Prof. McDonald should you wish to discuss the EYH program.
