After graduation, I worked the non-union regional circuit for the first year out of college playing a variety of lead and ensemble tracks. I then toured for 2 years with the National Touring Company of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF under the direction of Sammy Dallas-Bayes (Jerome's dance captain in the original 1964 production). Sammy became a mentor to me and had me assist him in putting the show together on the second year. It was an amazing experience...I helped cast the show, set all of the numbers and was basically an on-tour director. Sammy has been training me to "take over" the show after him so that I may continue to set Jerome's original staging and choreography. After that, I have worked at the Paper Mill Playhouse twice, North Shore Music Theatre, Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, and Stages St. Louis. I hope that I do not seem pretentious by listing all of these credits...I merely listed them as a huge THANK YOU to you and the rest of the department. I had little to no experience when I came to Wagner and because of everyone on the entire staff pushed me to be my best and truly believed in me, I grew tremendously within my four years. I am now continuing to take my training and grow while away from Main Hall's walls.
