SUSAN FENLEY (Co-Artistic Director) has been a member of the Wagner College Theatre faculty since 2002 and teaches acting, improvisation, and mime to theatre majors. She also has taught at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and Paper Mill Playhouse. A member of Actors Equity Association and Screen Actors Guild, Susan has been an actor, singer, and mime for over 20 years and has appeared on stage and in movies, commercials, and print. Susan has worked with companies that include L.A. Actors Theatre, LaMama, Twelfth Night Repertory Co. and Cherry Lane Theatre. She is also the executive/artistic director of Staten Island’s Sundog Theatre where she has produced or directed over 35 shows. As a teaching artist, Susan worked in NYC schools for several years before founding Sundog. She was a musical theatre major at U.S. International University’s School of Performing Arts in San Diego, California.
DAVID SISCO has served on the voice faculties at Northeastern and Suffolk University, and currently teaches private voice at Marymount Manhattan College. He also maintains a private studio in New York and leads masterclasses around the country on preparing contemporary art song and musical theatre. David is the author of Here I Am: A Musical Personal Ad, Variations on a Theme of You, and BAIT n’ SWISH. He is currently collaborating with book writer/lyricist Tom Gualtieri on two musicals: Falling to Earth, and I’m Afraid, You’re Afraid: 448 Things to Fear And Why. A winner of the 2010 NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) Composition Award, David is a prolific art song composer. His songs have been heard at concerts produced by Friends & Enemies of New Music, New Music New York, Joy in Singing, Lyricfest, Songfest and Songfusion. With business partner Laura Josepher, David runs contemporarymusicaltheatre.com, a resource that helps teachers, students and professionals find well-written, largely self-published contemporary musical theatre songs. RUSTY CURCIO, WCT's Head of Dance
Rusty has worked for Wagner College since 1997 and is currently the Head of Dance. Rusty is a trained dancer, director/choreographer and movement specialist working for the past 30 years in NYC area. He has performed internationally throughout Japan, Europe and North America and is a Certified Movement Analyst and Registered Somatic Movement Therapist/Educator. He has also worked as Artistic Director for Bergen Festival Theatre Company, Bergen County, NJ and Lycian Center, Sugar Loaf,NY as well as Dance Director and Company Manager for Surflight Theatre, Beach Haven,NJ. Performance highlights: Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo, Surflight, Mac-Haydn Theatre, Peridance Dance Ensemble, Acanthus Ballet Company.
