We are very sad to learn of the death of Peter Pellegrito ’07 M’08 on Sunday, February 1, 2015.

According to an obituary in the Staten Island Advance, he suffered a brain aneurysm on Saturday, “a complication of arterial vascular malformation, an extremely rare genetic condition.”

“Peter was one of our very first students in our Accelerated MBA and was one of the most popular students both among the professors and his classmates,” said Donald Crooks, associate professor of business administration and director of the Accelerated and Executive MBA programs. “Always a smile on his face, he worked well with his group and was always there to help. His enthusiasm and laugh were infectious, and he embodied all those exemplary qualities we long for in our students.

“Peter was a joy and honor to have as a student, and I was proud to have mentored him.”

Peter was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity.
