Scott Salinardi M’05 died April 23 after a heart attack at the age of 45. Since 2004, Scott had been director of programs for Lifestyles for the Disabled, a Staten Island organization that provides enriching learning experiences for intellectually disabled people, established by his father Richard Salinardi ’69 in 1994. Born and raised on Staten Island, Scott earned his bachelor’s degree in public policy from the University of Chicago and an MBA from Wagner College. “Scott could have employed his skills to be financially successful in any endeavor,” said Staten Island District Attorney Michael McMahon. “Instead, he devoted his life to serve the most vulnerable, our intellectually disabled community, through Lifestyles.”
