HEERF I Student Grants Reporting

  • Acknowledgement that the institution signed and returned to the Department the Certification and Agreement and the assurance that the institution has used, or intends to use, no less than 50 percent of the funds received under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students.
    Wagner College has signed and returned the Certification and Agreement to the U.S. Department of Education, and we intend to use no less than 50 percent of the funds received under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students.
  • The total amount of funds that the institution will receive or has received from the Department pursuant to the institution’s Certification and Agreement [for] Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students.
    Wagner College has received approval for $744,129 to be distributed as Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students.
  • The total amount of Emergency Financial Aid Grants distributed to students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act as of the date of submission (i.e., as of the 30-day Report and every 45 days thereafter).
    Wagner College has distributed $744,129 in grants to students. 
  • The estimated total number of students at the institution eligible to participate in programs under Section 484 in Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965 and thus eligible to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act.

    Wagner College is reviewing all students who completed a 2019-20 FAFSA and met eligibility requirements for Title IV assistance as of the time of the declaration of emergency. Please note that according to the Department of Education requirements, international and undocumented students are ineligible. The amount awarded per student will be determined based upon how many students are deemed qualified.
  • Any instructions, directions, or guidance provided by the institution to students concerning the Emergency Financial Aid Grants.
    At this time an application is not required.

HEERF II Student Grants Reporting

Wagner College has received and distributed a total of $744,129 in grants to 1282 students as part of the HEERF II legislation. An application was not required.

Wagner College reviewed all students who completed a 2020-21 FAFSA by March 2, 2021 and met eligibility requirements set forth in the legislation. Please note that according to the Department of Education requirements, international, DACA and undocumented students are ineligible. Priority distribution was made to those undergraduate students whose Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) indicates they may be eligible for a Federal Pell Grant. The EFC was also used to determine the funding amount for each student.

HEERF III Student Grants Reporting

Wagner College has completed the distribution of grants to students as part of the HEERF III legislation. We have distributed a total of $1,850,467 in grants to 1567 students. An application was not required. Wagner College reviewed all students who were enrolled on or after the declaration of the national disaster on March 13, 2020.
